Equipment Installation
We’ll start by finding the utilities in your yard before breaking ground. Pipes will then be installed in a U-shaped pattern. Once the pipes are done, any open areas will be backfilled, and you can plant grass seed or sod.
With the pipes and outdoor work finished, the indoor part of your installation can get underway.
Attaching your geothermal HVAC system inside isn’t very different from what you’d expect from any other model of heating or central AC installation. We’ll replace the old unit, fit your new system to present ductwork and get it heating and cooling.
Each geothermal installation has its own schedule, so talk with Becht/Givens Service Experts to have them establish the expected time needed for your system.
Plan Annual Maintenance
Once your new geothermal system is installed, you can operate it like any other heating or cooling system. You’ll also need to book annual tune-ups to keep it running at top performance.
Geothermal heating and cooling is as dependable as standard heating and cooling systems, but once installed, it can provide you even greater efficiency. Take advantage of the big energy-saving and tax-saving benefits it can deliver.
